Gene Branding

01Gene is the creative partner behind our own name, so its identity had to do more than look right. It had to behave like a living thing.
We built a generative visual language where nothing is drawn twice. An image goes in, and comes back written in Gene's own alphabet of lines and blocks. Portraits, landmarks, flags, objects: all of them end up speaking the same language.
The generator
02Alongside the identity we built the tool that produces it. Anyone can drop in an image, shape the result with a handful of controls, and watch the composition rebuild itself as they go.
When a version feels right it leaves as a vector, a still or a video, ready for print, for social, or for a screen. The identity stays consistent without anyone having to redraw it.
