01OMAI gathers the local AI community for a night of talks, demos and introductions. The 2026 edition was held at Dar Al Qadsiah, the home of the football club, and Genetik Studio was invited to give the room something to take away.
We built a photobooth on the theme of the event. A guest stepped up, took a photo, and watched themselves come back as a portrait drawn in the visual language of the evening.
One choice sat between the photo and the poster, and it is what made the booth worth queueing for.
Pick your look
02After the photo, a short menu appeared: the home shirt, the away shirt, a cap, a scarf, a touch of face paint. Guests picked whatever they wanted and the portrait was built around their choices.
Everything ran on site in a matter of seconds. The interface, the colours and the finished poster all carried the event's identity, so the booth read as part of the night rather than a gadget parked in a corner.
What came back was a keepsake poster of the guest in the look they had assembled, ready to share before they had left the booth.
